Rev. Martin
E. Teske, Intentional Interim Pastor
Martin E. Teske was born in Perry County, son
of The Reverend and
Mrs. Herbert Teske, Sr. Following boyhood in South Dakota and teenage years
in Ill., he attended colleges of the LCMS in Milwaukee, Wisc. and Fort
Wayne, Ind.
before beginning theological study at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis.
After graduating from Concordia
Seminary with a Master of Divinity Degree
in 1966, Pastor Teske served for twenty nine years as parish pastor in
Pennsylvania and New York State. During this time he pursued post graduate
study at Colgate Rochester Divinity School where he received a Master of
Theology degree in Family Ministries in 1978.
After receiving special training in
intentional interim ministry in 1995,
Rev. Teske began this unique ministry as Intentional Interim Pastor of
St. Paul Lutheran Church in Batavia, N.Y. He relocated to Texas in July of
1996
with a call from the Texas District to serve as Interim Minister-at-Large.
Since 1995 he has served a total of fifteen congregations in western New
York,
Texas, Kansas and Colorado as Intentional Interim Pastor.

Vianna Pilkington,
Director of Christian Fine Arts
Vianna Pilkington has been performing, teaching, and conducting music for
the past
40 years throughout the United States and Canada. She holds a
Bachelor’s
degree in
music and one in theater arts. Her Masters degree is in
sacred
music specializing in
conducting, vocal performance, and pedagogy.
Her
choirs have received awards both
nationally and internationally. As
Director of Christian Arts at The Lutheran Church of
the Savior she finds
special
satisfaction in serving God through the development of
programs
across a
variety of performance art forms.

Gina Persson, Organist/Pianist/Worship Band Leader
Regina has been a church musician for almost
20 years. She received a
bachelor's degree
in Jazz Studies and graduated cum laude from the University
of Lowell in
Massachusetts.
She was pianist, organist and choir director for
10 years before coming to LCS. Gina
accompanies our traditional worship services
on both piano and
organ. She and her
husband, Dan, lead the 8-member worship
band at LCS for our contemporary
service.
She endeavors to provide worshipful
music each week by the power of the Holy
Spirit
to the glory of God through
Jesus our Savior. |
