First Annual Brunch
Saturday,
September 11th • 10:00 AM
All women are invited. The
food will be fabulous as well as the fellowship.
We will explore new ways to “make known” our Savior’s desire to be a Savior
to all.
The mission donation for the month is toilet paper for Central Food
Ministry.
Call in advance to arrange children. Come and see what the LWML is all
about.

Rally
Day 2010
Sunday,
September 12th
We resume our three
service worship schedule with traditional worship
at both 8:30 and 11:15 AM and contemporary worship at 10:00 AM.
Sunday school (age 2 through High School) and two adult Bible studies
will be offered at 10:00 AM and at 11:15 AM there will be a
Post-Confirmation class and an adult Bible study class.

Oktoberfest
2010
Saturday,
September 25th • 6:30 PM
Take
a break from yard work and bring the whole family to enjoy
some great pot luck dishes, listen to German “oompah” music, bob for
apples,
and drink fresh root beer from a keg (ice cream for root beer floats,
too!!)
or bottled birch beer for those who prefer. Nothing says fall quite
like
an Oktoberfest — a great time of fellowship and fun!
There is a sign up sheet in the narthex. Please indicate how many are
coming
and what you are planning to bring — main dish, side dish or
dessert.
The food can either be German or your fall favorite!!

Cross Blood Drive
Wednesday,

Did
you know that we hosted two Red Cross Blood drives
in the Family
Life Center this summer?
A HUGE thank you to those that have been
volunteering
their time for these events.
If
you are at least 18
years old and weigh at least 110 pounds,
you are eligible to be
a blood
donor! It’s easy to give blood,
and they make you eat cookies when
you are through!
Please call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE (800-448-3543) to schedule
your appointment.
Volunteers will be needed to help with the blood drive.
