CFM Open Van Program
During the month of February we will be
accepting donations of soap and shampoo!

Donations of these items will help those in need to stay clean and healthy
from head to toe! Simply place your donations directly into the back of
the CFM van in the parking lot any Sunday in February or in the mission
donation bin downstairs next to the elevator. Thank you for your
ongoing support of this very important and rewarding program!

Hearts Party
Saturday, February 18 • 6:00 PM

For ages 8 and up (other games for younger children provided),
this is LCS' first annual Hearts Party at the end of which
this year's KING and QUEEN of hearts will be crowned!
Hearts is a card game in which you try to avoid the hearts
as well as as the Queen of Spades which can spell trouble!!
It's fun and easy to learn... even if you have never played before.
Sign up in the narthex on Sunday morning... and bring a red,
white or heart-shaped snack to share... beverages provided!

Ash Wednesday Service

preceded by a Soup Supper at 6:00 PM
downstairs in the Fellowship Hall

The spirit of Ash Wednesday is solemn. The mood is one of penitence
and reflection on the quality of our faith and life.
The goal is for believers to participate in the discipline of Lent, which,
because it focuses on the mystery of redemption through Jesus,
should strengthen us by bringing us anew to the gift of our Baptism.

Plan to join us for a special service on Ash Wednesday and
for mid-week Lenten services every Wednesday thereafter through March 28
under the theme "Return with Me with all your heart" based on Joel 12:2

Men in Prayer
Saturday, March 3 • 7:30 to 8:30 AM

Join the men of LCS at church as we spend time in devotion and prayer
for each other and for our congregation. Breakfast will be served.
