Open Arms
Christian Preschool admits children 2 years 9 months to 5 years of
age.
We do not discriminate in providing services to children and their
families on the basis of race, religion, cultural heritage, political beliefs, national
origin, disability, marital status, or sexual orientation. Toilet training
status is not an eligibility requirement for enrollment.
Programs
Open Arms Christian Preschool offers the following programs:
Preschool 3's Tuesday & Thursday
with 3, 4, or 5 day options
Preschool 4's Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with 4 or 5
day options
Pre-Kindergarten Monday through Friday
Stay and Play Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Early Drop Off at 8:30 AM daily

School
Hours and School Year
9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Stay and Play hours are 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Our school year starts on the Monday after Labor Day and closes the end of
May. We follow the Bedford Public School calendar for closings due to holidays and
vacations. If Bedford is closed or has a delayed opening due to inclement weather, Open
Arms will be closed.
Daily Schedule
The daily
schedule at Open Arms Christian Preschool will include:
Free Play, Bible Lessons, Rest/Snack, Group Time (songs, games,
music),
Art Projects, Gross Motor Play (playground or indoors) , Story Time/Music
Some beginning
academics will be provided to the Preschool 4's.
Pre-Kindergarten will be center-oriented.

Registration
The registration process at Open Arms Christian Preschool includes
submitting a registration form, and paying a $75 non-refundable registration
fee for one child or $100 non-refundable registration fee per family with
more than one child enrolled. After
the form is processed, an agreement and a one-month, non-refundable tuition
deposit will be due. For current tuition rates, please call the school at

New students and parents will visit prior to the start of school to get
acquainted with the staff and become familiar with the class room.

Staff
All teachers and assistants at Open Arms Christian Preschool meet
Department of Early Education and Care requirements.
Parental Involvement
Positive and productive parent-teacher relationships are fostered through
direct contact, progress reports, parent conferences, parent get-togethers, and monthly
newsletters. Parents are always welcome.

Department of Early Education and Care and is governed by a Board of
Directors appointed by the Church Council of the Lutheran Church of The
Savior, Bedford, Mass.
