HUNGARY
Mission trips to Sárvár, Hungary have taken place for over
a decade now. Donations are always welcome to support this ongoing mission effort. Please make your check payable to "Lutheran

line. If you are interested in participating in a short-term mission trip to

MEXICO
Lutheran Church of The Savior has now sent teams for the past
seven years to Tijuana, Mexico to build and to
teach through Lutheran Border Concerns Ministry. One team of individuals
works on construction projects and another team holds Vacation Bible School for some
100+ children
in the neighborhood. For more information about future mission trips to Mexico, please contact

SUDAN
The first mission trip to the Sudan took place in the summer
of 2007. New projects will soon be shared with the congregation but your
financial support and prayers are always welcome. Over the past several
years, donations have been used to purchase land for a school,
support an elderly women's project, support a pastor student, build a
school, purchase church supplies and educational materials. Donations also supported a Peace Conference which took place in August
2001 and the church helped to fund the purchase of a brick-making machine to better enable the church
to build shelters (churches and schools) throughout Sudan. A total of $17,500
was sent to make this purchase and to train the folks on the use of the
equipment.

LOCAL MISSION PROJECTS
Central Food Ministry, Lowell, MA
Volunteer opportunities are available T/W/Th 10:00 am -
1:30 pm and Th 7:00
pm - 8:00 pm. Volunteers help sort food and clothing; distribute food;
and provide general maintenance/cleanup. The following contributions are always welcome
-- paper goods, baby items, canned foods, clothing, and financial donations..

This group meets at the church the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM and the second Thursday of the month at
9:30 AM (except winter months).

Senior Luncheons at Lutheran Church
of the Savior
This luncheon is offered the second Thursday of each month at 12:00 noon.
Volunteers are needed to help prepare and serve the meal. All seniors from the church and local communities are welcome.
